Getting there

The island has a daily catamaran service and ferry service linking it to the mainland at Split and stopping along the way at Korčula and Hvar. During the summer season it has additional catamaran service from Dubrovnik and Italy.

Arriving to Lastovo

•    Ferry

There is a daily ferry service from Split to Lastovo stopping along the way at Hvar and Vela Luka (Korčula). The trip lasts about 5 hours.

•    Catamaran

This is the fastest and the most elegant way to come to Lastovo. Catamaran has air-condition, and the trip lasts 2 hours and 45 minutes.

During July and August there is a fast line Dubrovnik-Lastovo, twice a week, Tuesdays and Thursdays.

To Split or Dubrovnik you can come by:

•    Sea

•    Air

From almost every international airport, there are regular flights to the capital of Croatia – Zagreb, and from here you can continue your flight towards the coast.

In high season, the frequency of flights is higher and many charter flights depart directly towards the biggest tourist destinations in Croatia: Pula, Rijeka, Split, Brač and Dubrovnik.

The closest airports to Lastovo are Dubrovnik and Split. On the airports there are organized transports to ferry ports in Split and Dubrovnik.

•    Car

From most European cities you can come to Split or Dubrovnik by motorways.

To enter the country and drive in Croatia you will need an insurance green card, a valid driving licence and a car registration card. The highway A1 Zagreb-Split, since being finished in 2005, connects the two vital European road routes (E 59) Maribor-Zagreb-Split and (E 65) Rijeka-Split-Dubrovnik.

Railway services connect all Croatian cities except for Dubrovnik.
